Job Description

Reporting to the Hospital's Director of Human Resources, the Senior Human Resources Advisor will support both the strategic and tactical objectives of the department and Hospital.

Summary: The Senior Human Resources Advisor serves as the primary interface between Human Resources and operational/staff units, providing the highest levels of customer service to assigned clients.

Responsibilities: The Senior Human Resources Advisor consults and collaborates with employees, supervisors and managers across the full spectrum of HR issues, providing feedback to and linkage with all functional components of Human Resources. The Advisor leverages a thorough knowledge and understanding of the entity's mission and strategy to align HR initiatives and department objectives. The Advisor serves as a coach for employees, supervisors and managers.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; 5-7 years of HR Generalist / Advisor / Business Partner experience; Certification in Human Resources (PHR) strongly preferred; complete administrative proficiency including MS Office Suite, Word, Excel & Powerpoint; demonstrated success with Employee Relations; strong experience with Labor Relations (ideally with MNA & SEIU1199 contracts).

Multi-lingual fluency preferred but not required.

Prior labor relations experience experience managing collective bargaining agreements within a healthcare setting preferred.

Understanding of MNA (Massachusetts Nursing Assocation) Collective Bargaining Agreement strongly preferred.

Strong experience conducting investigations and managing disciplinary actions required.
