The Referral Coordinator ensures Referrals made by the providers are processed to ensure our patients receive timely follow-up, on their diagnosis. They verify patient’s insurance and request authorization for pending referrals. Referral Coordinators are required to follow-up with patients to ensure the patient has all required information.
- Must have a high school degree or general equivalence degree.
- May have 1 year experience in a physician’s practice.
- It would be helpful if person is a Medical Assistant or a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with all ages.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of computers.
