Position Summary:

The Manager, Human Resources serves as the people manager to members of the HR team, overseeing day to day workflow and activity with a national scope. The Manager consults and collaborates with employees and leaders including, but not limited to, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, process improvement and coaching. The Manager will be a business partner to specific business units and director-level management, leveraging a thorough knowledge and understanding of the organization’s mission, business model and strategy to align HR initiatives and entity objectives.

This is a hybrid-remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a business partner to various business units providing guidance regarding policy and procedures.
  • Provides the highest standards of customer service and serves as the point of contact for all directors, managers and employees regarding HR issues.
  • Analyzes and composes data reports and develops action plans to reach department goals
  • Advises HRBPs on employee relations issues; recommends courses of action and ensures appropriate documentation of events, consistency, and equity in all resolutions.
  • Manages workload and develops HR team members through 1:1 meetings, and in-house development trainings.
  • Responsible for completing performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Ensures full compliance with all regulatory agency requirements and educates/coaches directors and managers regarding these requirements.
  • Seeks out professional development opportunities and continually upgrades own HR technical expertise and consultative skills.
  • Conducts training programs as necessary and serves on appropriate committees as requested by members of management or HR leadership.
  • Works with HR leadership to develop action plans that support strategic HR issues.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of HR transactions and performs other duties as assigned by HR leadership.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to design, recommend and lead organizational development and training projects.
  • Ability to build relationships in all levels of the organization.
  • Strong focus on accountability, driving for and achieving results, both personally and through the team.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience with 3+ years’ experience in a health care setting
  • 2+ years of supervisory/management experience
  • Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) a plus
