Information Security Communication Associate Analyst
Reporting to the Office of Information Security Manager Security Services, the Information Security Communication Associate Analyst will assist in the development, marketing, communication, monitoring, and driving of key messages and objectives of the security awareness and education program at Steward Health Care (SHC). They will play a key role in collaborating with the department and developing communications and trainings both internal and external to the department.
The overall goal of the security awareness and education program is to reduce information security risk by ensuring that all SHC workforce members understand their accountability to organizational security policies and apply information security practices with respect to Steward Health Care data and information technology systems. Under the direction of the Manager, Security Services, the Information Security Communication Associated Analyst will assist in developing materials and content for the yearly security awareness training, phishing program, Security Awareness Month, publications, websites, and planning outreach, awareness, educational events, and other items based on NIST 800-53 and HIPAA standards. Leveraging the tools available, the Associated Analyst will monitor and report on the information security awareness program.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or equivalent discipline is required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Communications field
- Graphic design, marketing or communications background a plus.
- Understanding of NIST 800 series, HIPAA, and any other frameworks.
