Summary:

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Coordinator supports the national Steward Medical Group HR department with various department functions. The Coordinator is a point person in the department for employee questions and collaborates with individuals across the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for onboarding all new hires and escalating any concerns regarding lack of responsiveness immediately to the applicable Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • Works alongside Talent Acquisition to onboard new hires
  • Composes and analyzes data reports for the department
  • First point of contact for benefit questions from employees and managers
  • Verifies and processes all invoices from vendors for the HR team
  • Monitors FMLA status of employees; works with managers to ensure LOA’s are in an approved status and maintain HRIS to reflect the appropriate status
  • Troubleshoots and researches to resolve HR related issues prior to escalating in a professional, service-oriented manner
  • Conducts new hire orientation on a rotating basis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of HR or related experience
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HealthcareSource ATS and Kronos HRIS preferred
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
