Summary:
Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Coordinator supports the national Steward Medical Group HR department with various department functions. The Coordinator is a point person in the department for employee questions and collaborates with individuals across the organization
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for onboarding all new hires and escalating any concerns regarding lack of responsiveness immediately to the applicable Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Works alongside Talent Acquisition to onboard new hires
- Composes and analyzes data reports for the department
- First point of contact for benefit questions from employees and managers
- Verifies and processes all invoices from vendors for the HR team
- Monitors FMLA status of employees; works with managers to ensure LOA’s are in an approved status and maintain HRIS to reflect the appropriate status
- Troubleshoots and researches to resolve HR related issues prior to escalating in a professional, service-oriented manner
- Conducts new hire orientation on a rotating basis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of HR or related experience
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with HealthcareSource ATS and Kronos HRIS preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
