POSITION SUMMARY

The HOP supports the management of both the system event reporting software, Leapfrog submission data mining, benchmarking software data mining for patient safety activities, infection control activities, etc.

Event Reporting Software
Knowledge includes, but is not limited to:
* Software functionality and features
* Software configuration capabilities and tools
* User roles and scope for configuration and maintenance
* Alert configuration and maintenance
* Report generation
* Auto-reports configuration and maintenance
The HOP will support administration of the system software programs to meet organizational requirements. The HOP will also provide support to end users with configuration needs and issues prior to calling their internal IT Help Desk and/or the event reporting software Support Team.

Responsibilities during Implementation of any software program used in Risk Management and Infection control
* Support the PSSA in ensuring update of all configuration requirements of the software programs with guidance from all applicable vendors for Patient Safety Programs, e.g. RL Solutions, Sentri 7, ECRI PSO, etc.
* Learn all configuration components of the software programs
* Act as one of the resources to train other System Administrators and staff
* Clearly communicate the requirements of the system to the system's users
* Support troubleshooting of configuration issues and questions raised by end users
* Escalate issues to the necessary party for resolution

Responsibilities after Implementation
* Support activities specific to all on-going software configuration needs
* Escalate issues to the necessary party for resolution
* Support the management of the internal change management process for tracking on-going software configurations
* Assist in troubleshooting of configuration issues and questions raised by end users
* Create and run corporate-level reports, and other reports as required
* Maintain user list based on personnel changes, maintain auto-reports configuration, and maintain alert configurations
* Coordinate with internal IT resources to apply updates when delivered by RL Solutions
* Stay current on new software versions released by vendors
Responsibilities for Patient Safety Operations/Initiatives
* Supports coordination of data mining and presentation materials for Patient Safety projects including but not limited to medication safety, infection prevention strategies, medical staff data mining for OPPE utilizing system informatics systems for resource materials, e.g. NHSN, Vizient, Premier, etc.
* Supports coordination and report of any system surveys specific to Patient Safety, e.g. Leapfrog survey, Culture of Safety, TJC ORO leadership survey, etc.
* Management of audit processes specific to data integrity expectations of Steward/Vendors following data upload from Steward to Vendor(s), e.g. Vizient, Premier, RL, etc.
Any other projects/roles/duties as defined by PSSA

Requirements:

* BS with clinical analysis background or 1-3 years' experience with data analysis in performance improvement and patient safety including data analysis of quality and safety projects as well as patient satisfaction survey review. Experience in statistical analysis tools is mandatory.
* Highly motivational communication skills accompanied by the ability to analyze and present data to influence behavior, stimulate innovation, promote best practices, and drive organizational change.
* Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project Manager as well as VISIO
Must be able to travel to other Steward entities as needed
