Data Analyst, Patient Experience and Car
Reporting to the Executive Director of Patient Experience for Steward Health Care, and working in partnership with the Patient Experience Team and the Steward Corporate Quality Department, the DA is responsible for helping to drive institutional performance by identifying trends which can better support critical Patient Experience and Care Coordination initiatives and creating, implementing and maintaining data and qualitative reports. This position will provide support for the Patient Experience and Care Coordination Departments through the alignment and reporting of data. Develops and maintains standard formats to promote the consistent display, interpretation and presentation of data. Reviews and understands Patient Experience and Care Coordination data and uses this data to provide training to staff. The DA will support the efforts of the Patient Experience and Care Coordination teams by owning core reporting and analyses, including communication on progress to team, as well as contributing to the design and data management/implementation of key projects. Sample project:
Support site-based patient experience “deep dives” – including reviewing key themes and opportunities for improvement and driving ongoing project management
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a health care related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in data management and analysis (Experience with Press Ganey and or other methods of collecting patient feedback and process improvement methods preferred).
- Software/Hardware: Microsoft Office suite.
Other: Hospital experience preferred; healthcare experience required.
