The Application Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support to both end users and IT staff regarding various applications that are implemented at Steward Health Care System and Act as liaison with vendors for evaluation and implementation for Steward business and clinical applications. This role will provide operations support of core IT applications, working with the IT application business owners. In particular, support of SailPoint and other Steward software and other applications. This person will report to the Sr. Director of Operations and Applications.

I. Education: 4-year college program certificate, or equivalent work experience

II. Experience: 4 years’ experience in a customer service focused environment, Healthcare IT preferred

III. Software/Hardware:

  1. Advanced knowledge of both Windows and Apple operating systems
  2. Knowledge of Cisco SSL VPN, Secure ID, Sophos AV, BitLocker
  3. Strong Knowledge of Programming languages: SQL, JAVA, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, PowerShell
  4. Strong Knowledge of Web technologies: PHP, XML, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Firewalls, HTML
  5. Strong Knowledge of Database: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL
  6. Strong knowledge of MSOffice, Exchange, IE, Safari, ActiveSync, MS Project, MS Visio
  7. Knowledge of wireless devices including but not limited to Android and iPhone
  8. General knowledge of client-server computing
General knowledge of basic data communications networking equipment, including hubs, routers and cabling infrastructure and of LAN/WAN internetworking protocols
